Dragomon Hunter Beginner's Guide, Leveling Your Character Faster

While leveling in Dragomon Hunter is relatively simple at its base, players can easily get confused by the sheer amount of content present in the game, and miss out on some much needed Exp sources.

But before even getting into that, it is important to know that there are two types of "levels" assigned to the player's characters in Dragomon Hunter.

Character Level
The most important one of the two, the character level will be the main factor affecting what content your character may access, including dungeons, side quests, class skills, equipment, and professions (fishing, crafting, mining, etc).

HL Level
The HL level on the other hand will mostly affect your character's progression. It not only allows you to equip higher level equipment, but also provides your character with stat points than can be assigned to any of the 5 available stats (Attack, Penetration, Health Points, Defense, Critical Hit Rate). Put simply, it allows players to decide whether their character will have a tank build, a pure Attack DPS build, or a DPS build based on critical hits.

Leveling Faster In Dragomon Hunter

Unsurprisingly, main quests are here the best source of experience points. And like other X-LEGEND games, Dragomon Hunter is rather main quest heavy, having players complete task after task, only to unlock new regions and more quests. However, this does get boring after a while, and you may want to turn to other activities for your leveling needs.

Daily Missions

Which brings us to the second best source of Exp in Dragomon Hunter, the daily missions. These are basically side quests that players can complete everyday after their cooldown resets. These quests can be accepted from the Hunters' League Board, and generally give characters rare/useful loot, including crafting material and Hoppadrome tickets. As you level up your character, you will have access to more Hunters' League Boards, as follows:
  • Lv10 - 20 Hunters' League Board
  • Lv21 - 30 Hunters' League Board
  • Lv31 - 40 Hunters' League Board
  • Lv41 - 50 Hunters' League Board
Hoppadrome

Another great Exp source if the Hoppadrome. Put simply, you will need to collect Hoppadrome tickets (4 of the same time), and interact with NPC's that will send you to an arena where you will need to defeat Dragomon after Dragomon. You will have the option of dropping out after each battle, something that might come in handy considering that your opponents will only get stronger and stronger. Unlike the Hunters' League Board quests, there is no limit to how many times you can complete the Hoppadrome, assuming that you have enough tickets. Players also have the option of completing the Hoppadrome solo, or with a party.

Daily Events

Much like the daily missions, daily events are a set of tasks that your character will need to complete everyday, earning rewards as you complete more and more of them. These will generally involve defeating a set number of Dragomon from the specified species, defeating world bosses, crafting activities, and so on. And it doesn't hurt that characters obtain a decent amount of experience points after completing each of these tasks.

Dungeons

Dragomon Hunter also gives players access to a number of dungeons that they can run through, solo or with a party, and defeat bosses that give a great amount of Exp. Keep in mind that some of these dungeons will be exceptionally hard and will require your character to be appropriately leveled/geared.

Defeating Dragomon

Finally, an obvious source of Exp is the Dragomon themselves. By roaming the different maps available, players will encounter different Dragomon that they can defeat for loot and Exp. I, however, wouldn't call this a viable leveling activity due to the fact that defeated Dragomon only offer a negligible amount of Exp.
